Good head shot    I am a 63 year old woman who, through my golf was able to meet and know as friends a great deal of celebrities.  I am writing two books.  One is on my years as golf pro at Mission Hills CC in Palm Springs, CA and my friend Harold Joseph Gibbons, 2nd Vice President of the International Teamster’s Union.  Gibbons was James R. Hoffa’s right hand man and Gibbons talked Hoffa into funding part of Las Vegas…….so our trips there were always comped and our accomodations the very best.  This blog will contain individual stories of some of our experiences and many unknown tales of celebrities.  Most of this happened between 1971 and 1975, so the majority of the celebrities and pro golfers are older, and some are now gone.  But they include folks like Frankie Sinatra, Bob Hope, David Janssen, Marty Allen, Kirk Douglas……………….

The other book I am writing is about the stunt men/actors and character actors of the years 1930 through 1980 with emphasis on the Pappy Ford Stock Troop.  There will be items that some don’t know about the films of these years.  I don’t plan to review films……just add to the reviews that are already out there and expound upon little known details and relationships of the people involved.

This is all in preparation for the two books, and it should be great fun.  I welcome all comments….have already gotten a previously unpublished photo of Ward Bond and his Sister………the person who sent it will be written up here along with the picture and the story behind it.

More to come as I get he hang of this blog!  Thanks for taking your time to read this…….and many more things will be added soon.  You bookmark it as I am not sure you can sign up for it…..more studying needed!  HAWKSWILL         (KP)   (KEITH)

Hope you don’t mind me putting this here Keith. I’ve had a look round the site and I’m not seeing the problem you mentioned – it just comes up like it ought to for any casual visitor.
And hey, our sites have a similar look – good choice!

Hi! I have read some of your posts and enjoy knowing there are other Frank McGrath and Terry Wilson fans out there. I would love to learn more about them and just share thoughts with someone.

Sent you an email with a short clip of Terry dropping his horse so he could shoot at some men, then having him get back up and jumping on him as he did so. Terry was an EXCELLENT rider as was his buddy Frank McGrath. In fact Frank was very well known for his prowess with horses.
